前一陣子突然很想念媽媽的紅燒牛肉麵

去年的此時此刻,我們在眾多親朋好友的祝福中訂下了一生的承諾.

人生中第一個感恩節火雞大餐party~

還沒從下午的興奮心情中平復

趁著RAP開學前的週末,我們去晃了幾個地方...

星期五的下午,聽說千禧公園在舉行夏季音樂會的最後一場表演,

2011.8.10 凌晨11:30 我們剛下飛機，匆匆地拖著兩箱行李趕搭電車。

七月，在小蜜蜂般“匆匆匆”的忙碌中，也過了大半...忙些什麼?!

忙著...陪伴家人，把以前因工作忽略的、以後因距離限制的部分盡量彌補;忙著跟朋友們來個出國前最後相聚，互相打氣;忙著收拾以前留下的殘局，圖個瀟灑的離開;忙著把事情安排妥當，畢竟這一走就是好幾年了;也忙著準備新生活所需要的一切...

這應該是最後一次回到綠光大排看呈現了吧...至少未來的幾年是這樣,

整理房間時,意外發現了之前無聊畫的小漫畫,

希望沒有廣告嫌疑...

「五月可能找不到我喔...我幾乎不在台灣，我會去非洲兩個多禮拜。」

Because I am interested in the field of healthcare, I choose to do volunteer work in the local healthcare setting. My placement is St. Patrick Hospital, a private hospital in Hohoe. They have OPD, consulting room, wards, theatre, dispensary, lab, injection room, dental dept, and X-ray dept in the hospital. The first day of placement we went around and visited the environment. I was shocked by the settings, especially the theatre. It was very simple and crude. I didn’t think they could keep the room clean enough for surgery. A man there told us that he does all the surgeries. The incredible fact is that he is just a trained assistant rather than a highly qualified doctor. I can’t imagine what has happened in the room. Well...It is Africa...I told myself.

Unlike children in some tourist spots of developing countries, kids here are so innocent like angels. When you walk on the street, you can see that kids smile and call you “Ya-po!” They will be very excited and happy if you respond to them. Once, a little girl ran to me, embraced me and smiled without a word. It seems that they approach you just because they are curious about you, the foreigner. What they want is only your time and attention. They may be the happiest and most satisfied children in the world. The material they have is only a little, but a little thing is enough to make them happy.
